Saftey is paramount and at times can be overlooked even with the best intentionions, you need to remember at all times even at the beginning when you are only starting out that you are basically dealing with what can only be classed as a lethal weapon, so even when practising in open land take care and never use your archery kit in built up areas where there is potential for other people to appear.
Lastly I should mention that at first archery equipment may appear to be an expensive hobby but in reality archery equipment is not that expensive when you take into consideration what it gives back.
Just make sure the kit you intend to buy is the kit that you need as a beginner, it is always worth asking someone with experience first before you buy. Nothing worse that arriving with nothing but the best kit only to make a complete fool of yourself, enhancing the embarassing moment by having to ask for help and finding out that the archery kit you have purchased is more suitable for archers with 25 years experience. Do your research first it will pay dividends
